Our aim is to get you quickly on the dance floor having fun. Social style tango—vs performance style—is a lead-and-follow walking dance and is creatively improvised based on the music, space and partner. We will use traditional Buenos Aires tango music. We’ll send you home with a playlist to listen to over the course of our series.
If you’ve taken this series once or twice before, we welcome you to join it again! It’s superb to revisit the basics, refine one’s practice, find greater comfort and joy in the dance, as well as to support new dancers along the way.
Information on registration and payment for the above series is found on the AshevilleTango.com calendar.
